This policy explains what data we collect about you when you use the Woodz Link website and customer portal or talk to us, how we use and protect it, and your rights under Egypt's Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020. Your data is controlled by Woodz Link L.L.C.
What we collect
Data you give us: your name, mobile number, email if you provide one, delivery address, the furniture you're ordering, and your messages with us.
Order data: contracts, recorded payments and manufacturing updates, and your choices in picks links (what you liked, what didn't suit you, and why).
Technical data: device and browser type, IP address and how you browse the site, collected through cookies and analytics tools.
How we use it
To give you advice, make, follow up and deliver your order, send sign-in codes and order updates, and answer your questions.
To improve the website and understand what our customers look for. We never sell your data.
We process your data based on your consent, to perform your contract with us, or to meet a legal obligation.
We only send you marketing messages with your consent, and you can stop them at any time by telling us on WhatsApp.
Who we share it with
The vendor making your furniture and the carrier delivering it, only as far as needed to fulfil your order.
Service providers working for us, such as hosting, messaging and analytics, who are bound to protect your data.
Authorities, when the law requires it.
If your data is stored or processed outside Egypt, this is done under the safeguards the law requires.
Cookies and analytics
We use Google Tag Manager to run analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity, which help us understand how the site is used and may record your interaction with pages in anonymised form.
You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings, and the site will keep working.
Security and retention
Your data is stored on protected servers, and only team members who need it to serve you can see it, under defined permissions. If a breach affects your data, we notify the competent authorities and you as the law requires.
We keep your data for as long as you deal with us, and afterwards for as long as the law or resolving a dispute requires.
Your rights
You have the right to know what data we hold about you, to ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and to object to its use or withdraw your consent, as far as the law allows. Message us on WhatsApp for any of these requests. You can also complain to the Personal Data Protection Center.
Children
Our services are for adults, and we don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
